This is an animated pocket or gag cartoon - a digital version of the little pieces of work that traditionally liven up news and letters pages.
The original version was drawn for a gallery show. Another version adorns the toilet door of the Political Cartoon Gallery in London.
This is a relatively simple piece of work, but it shows how a traditional image can be made to work digitally. Images this size can be strung together and bookended with branding, advertising or sponsorship. They can also be sized for distribution by mobile handheld devices.
